RETREAT BELOW
Don McLaughlin, from the North Atlanta Church of Christ will be our speaker, as we talk about being FEAR[less].
Jesus asks,"Why are you afraid?" Perhaps one of the most relevant questions of our times. Jesus asks his disciples this question when a raging storm is about to swallow them alive. His question seems so misplaced, like asking a fellow swimmer, "Why are you wet?" Aren't storms scary? But Jesus isn't afraid.
In fact, there is not one reference in scripture to Jesus ever being afraid. So in the midst of the storm we have more choices than we thought. One author asks this question, "What if our default in the storms of life was faith instead of fear?" Let's tackle that question and become fear(less) men of faith!
